The Moon - satellite of the third planet

The best sights any where is the moon. Due to its distance (it's very close) and lack of atmosphere the moon shows more detail than any other object (except maybe the tree down the street). You can see thousands of craters, mountains, faults, valleys, and rills (kinda like ravines or dried up river beds on earth). Most of the detail you will see will be along the day side of the terminator (the line between night side and day side), therefore every night but about 4 or 5 you will be able to see and explore new sights. The few days that are poor viewing are the couple of days around new moon and the full moon.
